Things to see and do in Dingo Beach

Visit the quiet nature of Dingo Beach. We’ve got one of the best starting points to exploring the natural side of the Whitsundays. Step away from the crowds and bright lights and tune into nature. Contact us when you want to start exploring the tropical waters of Queensland to experience what we call the Great Dingo Beach Escape.

Swimming and playground areas

A Marine Stinger-free Swimming Enclosure is located adjacent to the Dingo Beach boat ramp and park along the foreshore. The easiest way to get there is to find the park along Deike Crescent at the end of Dingo Beach Road. Free Electric BBQ’s are situated on the beachfront for that relaxing day away. Shower and toilet facilities are available at the beach. Shady, safe playground facilities are right next to the beach.

Accommodation and supplies in Dingo Beach

Behind the beach front is the Dingo Beach Hotel which has a bar, shop, bait and tackle supplies and fuel. They have beach front accommodation or you can rent holiday homes through local real estate agents.

Getting out on the water

Give us a call when you want to venture out further to explore Dingo Beach by hiring a boat, a kayak or canoe, renting some snorkelling gear or even visiting or camping on the National Park islands you can see in the bay.

Beach and bushwalking

Take in a Queensland sunrise or sunset on a tropical beach, or venture on a local bush walk to see wildlife and hear choruses of native birds. We can share great local spots to take in a walk, then leave you in peace to stroll along the beach and get back to your true nature…
