HOW TO GET TO DINGO BEACH
On Highway Number One - The Bruce Highway - 12 km north of Proserpine there is a turnoff to Airlie Beach / Shute Harbour / Dingo Beach / Hydeaway Bay. Only a FEW HUNDRED METRES down this road on the left is the turnoff to Dingo Beach / Hydeaway Bay.
Just down this road you will cross a short one lane bridge over the Gregory River. Turn left again not far past this bridge and keep following this road for 28km to Dingo Beach. The road is completely sealed for all vehicles. There is no mobile phone coverage at Dingo Beach! However, Mobile phone reception can be obtained at the turn off to Hydeaway Bay. |
